#KNEONKID Victoria Smith recently graduated from The London College of Fashion, winning collection of the year at the BA press show. The 22 year old currently works for a handbag designer, Danielle Foster. Previously, this young gun had interned with names such as Christopher Kane, flying to Paris to help in the sales showroom and working as a pattern-cutting intern. She is featured here with her own designs, shot and interviewed in London by photographer Eve Stotesbury.





What inspires you ?

People. Observing social interactions.




What is your favourite material to work with?

Silk Organza is my favourite fabric. It feels like luxury. It can both drape well and be structural.




what would be your dream job and where would it be?

When it doesnt feel like a job. In London, Paris or Berlin.





What was the biggest challenge encountered in making your first collection?

The lack of time, trying to work on little or no sleep.




What do you listen to whilst working?

Fleetwood mac always lifts the mood when i'm working.





What is your favourite museum/ gallery?

The national portrait gallery. ALso the V&A Museum, I probably know the entire layout of it as i have spent so much time there.
